But look at her mouth! That doesn't look like an AG mouth at all to me. And those teeth look a little too big. I think she's still cute though.
What makes everyone think it lookslike a fake? It's face looks funny, and the skin looks darker, with the mouth looking larger....

If you look closely enough at the hands they look as though the fingers are all molded together. Where as the AG dolls only have the middle finger and the finger next to it(I don't know it's name [img]redface.gif[/img] ) molded together.
Is it just me, or do you see it too?
You know, what got me was that her face just doesn't look right. It's hard to explain, because you look at a lot of these fakes and it is hard to pick out what is wrong, but if you look at AGTeachers album of comparisons, it suddenly becomes glaringly clear. Their faces and eyes just aren't as gentle and little girl like. I don't think that there is any conspiracy to rip buyers off, but I do think there are a lot of people out there getting duped into buying fakes and then trying to dump them off on the next unsuspecting ebay buyer who doesn't know any better. If there are people who will buy the real deal at grossly inflated ebay prices when they could just go to ag.com and get it at the regular price, there probably isn't any shortage of buyers for fakes either.

All I have to say is that I am becoming really afraid of ebay... unless its retired I'm only buying from AG
I don't think we should boycott eBay because of this. I do however think we need to be *EXTRA CAREFUL*.

Ok, saw her.. the wig is not AG, no AG wigs got white tags on them, unless I am mistaken. Sam2 does not have a white tag on her wig and her wig is almost identical to the one in the auction.
The other thing, the PC logo is not what I see in counterfeit dolls, that logo is more higher closer to the wig and half hidden by the wig.
Will do more sleuthing......
